We want to warn our community about a new scam that has been reported multiple times in Kendall County. Scammers are calling residents, claiming to be from Kendall County Adult Probation, and telling them that to get their loved one out of jail, they must purchase a GPS tracking device. The scammer then asks for personal information and credit card details, claiming it will "expedite the process." 

Please remember: 

Law enforcement, Adult Probation, or Juvenile Probation will NEVER call to request payment or personal information over the phone. 

If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately and report it. 

Do not give out any personal or financial information to unknown callers. 

Thankfully, no one has fallen victim to this scam yet, but we want to keep it that way! Please share this information to help protect our community.
