Animal Control
The Animal Control Division is commanded by the Shelter Coordinator. There are four kennel techs and four animal control officers, that work under the coordinator.
The mission of the Kendall County Animal Control Shelter is to provide a safe, humane environment, and quality care for every animal brought into our shelter. We are here to provide a balance of health, safety, education, and opportunity not just for the animals but for the people as well. We are working with other shelter facilities and rescue groups in the surrounding areas to help lower the number of animals euthanized and to raise the number of adoption.
