As we step into March, we take a moment to honor Texas Independence Day, a time to reflect on the resilience, courage, and unwavering spirit that built our great state. The values that defined the fight for Texas' independence-determination, integrity, and unity-are the same values that guide us today in serving and protecting this community.

At the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, we are proud to uphold these traditions by working each day to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. Whether it's patrolling our neighborhoods, responding to emergencies, or engaging with our community, our deputies remain committed to serving with honor-just as those before us stood strong in the face of adversity.

This month, we also take time to recognize the men and women in law enforcement whose dedication mirrors the steadfastness of our Texas forefathers. It is a privilege to serve this county and work alongside such dedicated individuals.

As we celebrate our Texas heritage, let's also remember that freedom comes with responsibility. A responsibility to support one another, to look out for our neighbors, and to continue making Kendall County a place we are all proud to call home.
