Patrol

Old Tahoe

The Patrol Division is commanded by a Lieutenant. There are four shifts and each shift is staffed with a sergeant, a corporal, and five deputies. Each shift works a twelve hour assignment.

The Patrol Division is the law enforcement arm of the Sheriff's Office, and few would dispute that deputies assigned to the patrol division are the backbone of the Sheriff's Office. Deputies patrol the unincorporated sections of Kendall County and respond to citizens' calls for assistance, conduct traffic enforcement, investigate traffic accidents, and investigate reports of crime or suspected criminal activity.
