Chief Deputy King is a 30 year law enforcement veteran who began his tenure at the Kendall County Sheriff's Office in January of 2005. Chief King is a native Texan, he and his wife have five children.
The Chief is a graduate of the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas Leadership Command College and holds a Master Peace Officer's Certificate through the Texas Commission of Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.
Chief King is also a Licensed Law Enforcement Instructor, a member of the Sheriffs' Association of Texas, Texas Chief Deputy Association and serves as a Regional Director for the Leadership Command College Alumni Association. Chief King is a Member of the Alamo Area Council of Governments Criminal Justice Advisory Committee as well as being a member of the Masonic Lodges.
Chief King is the immediate underlink to the Sheriff and assists in the organization and operation of the Office. He is responsible for daily operations of all divisions of the Sheriff's Office.
