School Resources

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is strongly committed to our partnership with the Comfort Independent School District. We believe that our partnership exemplifies the highest level of community policing and problem oriented policing concepts.

The School Resource Officer provides full police service to the Comfort Independent School District in a professional manner. Many programs are incorporated into the problem solving process to enhance our intervention efforts. These programs include: The DARE program, Campus Crime Stoppers and the Shattered Dreams program.

Enforcement action is tempered with the best interests of the county, Sheriff's Office, and the school district in mind. There is a shared partnership with all of the stakeholders in the system. Careful attention is given to the educational environment of the school district when taking enforcement action.
