The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is once again accepting toys and identifying children in our community who would be recipients of the Sheriff’s Santa Christmas Toy Drive.
The Sheriff’s Santa Christmas Toy Drive was established to provide families in need with assistance in providing their children with Christmas gifts that they would not otherwise receive.
Needy families can come by the Sheriff’s Office and complete an application to receive gifts for their children this holiday season.
“Last year 1,705 gifts were handed out to 304 children from 108 needy families and our employees really enjoyed the opportunity to play Santa for these kids” stated Sheriff Roger Duncan.
We are also asking the community to help by supplying new unwrapped toys for boys and girls from infant to twelve years old. Any donations can be dropped off at the Sheriff’s Office located at 6 Staudt Street from now until December 22nd.
